An Epiphany

This morning when I was showering, I suddenly realized something. I don't really want an iPhone. No point getting it now when in half a year, a new model will be out. Paying RM2k for it is not a problem but then if it gets damaged or stolen, I would be very upset and disappointed.

So then I told myself to get an iPod Touch. I always wanted the latest one but it cost about RM 1.3k. Again money isn't the concern. It's just that I want faster speed and the latest function. But like I said, few months later, a new version would be launched again and I would want that.

What's the point of chasing technology right? That made me come to a conclusion that I will just have to settle with the iPod Touch 8GB. All the main functions are there and it only cost RM 700+. If a new version is launched, I could just download the update.

I am PROUD

I just realized my other blog has just passed the 5000 visitor line a few days ago. Now its around 5090. Although this is a small matter, I still do feel kinda proud =P . Go blog!

Idiotic Driver

I went to the hospital and this idiot (BHV 350, Silver-coloured Myvi) reversed into my car. I was already honking her but she still knocked me. Didn't even bother to say sorry or anything. And yet, she still could ask me to reverse when there is SO MUCH space for her to make the turn.

But it's a known fact that she doesn't know how to drive. If she could, she wouldn't have knocked my car right? So I guess I won't blame idiots for being idiots. Yeah, I'm kind in that way. Another reason why I let her go was because the damage wasn't too serious.

Demanding

Just 14 months ago, I managed to persuade dad to get me a new phone. The C902 just got released that month and I was among the first to buy it. Later, I also felt proud because James Bond decided to promote it too.

But at that time, I had quite a few good reasons. First, was that I've been using a super "cacat" phone for about 2 years. Second, dad NEVER bought me a NEW phone before as I always used "hand-me-downs". Third, was because I needed the phone to take good quality pictures and 1 year ago, 5megapixels is the BEST!

So back to the present day. I want an iPhone. But it seems pretty impossible because I don't use RM 100 for phone bill in a month. Another dream of mine is the iPod Touch. Basically, its an iPhone without the phone functions.

But the only reason I want these is because of the Wifi. So my next alternative is to get a phone with Wifi. A phone with Wifi would be useful as I can surf the web and twitter everywhere I go.

Well, to get the minimum of what I WANT, I'll need at least RM 1000. I have a few plans so let me share them (from least possible to the most likely option):

1. Earn money through Nuffnang (probably will take about 50 years).
   
2. Use up my savings (4-5 years of angpows).
3. Work (during semester break).
4. Some relatives decides to sponsor me (might still have some hope).
   
5. Ask my grandparents for it (they are arriving at KL later in the day).
   
6. BEG my parents for it!
   

I will not deny it. I am a SPOILED CHILD! I am super DEMANDING when I don't even contribute to the family income. But isn't it human nature to keep wanting to improve?

Power of Visualization?

I was just blog-surfing and realized, I need a watch. Hours later, dad came home with a Titus watch and said it's for me. Though he didn't buy it and it's FREE, I'm still happy. =)

My HARD WORK!!

Arthur's Day was the BEST!

4 hours of music, cramming with people, making our way to the middle, maintaining our "territory", and waiting for BEP. During their entire performance, we kept screaming "Fergie!" and was super high. Even minor "accidents" didn't matter.
